Terms and Conditions - Compare Airports Parking

Before proceeding with any booking through Compare Airports Parking, please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Compare Airports Parking upon confirmation of a booking.

1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and become effective upon issuance of a booking reference via our website or, in limited cases, by phone. Both parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Compare Airports Parking operates as a comparison and booking platform. We act as an agent for third-party service providers who offer airport parking services. Your contract for parking services will be directly with the selected provider. Each provider maintains its own Terms and Conditions, which apply to your booking and can be requested or accessed via their websites.

These terms apply to all bookings made directly via our website, app, contact centre, or through approved affiliate partners using our platform.

2. Before You Book

We strive to present detailed and accurate information for each parking option listed on our platform. Compare Airports Parking works with a range of independent car park providers offering various services including Meet & Greet and Park & Ride across major UK airports.

It is your responsibility to review all booking details carefully, including provider-specific terms, minimum stays, surcharges, and vehicle restrictions. Refunds will not be issued for claims based on information already stated within the product description.

Your booking contract lies with the individual car park provider, whose name will be included in your booking confirmation email. All prices listed on our website include VAT and are updated regularly. Prices are subject to change and may vary if you return to book at a later time. We recommend booking immediately to secure current rates.

If using a discount code, applicable discounts will be clearly shown. Discounts only apply to eligible products as indicated.

3. Making a Booking

Pricing Information:

All listed prices include VAT.

  • A non-refundable booking fee applies to all parking bookings.
  • Minimum stay requirements may apply to certain car parks.
  • Vehicle size restrictions may affect eligibility and pricing.
  • Additional surcharges (e.g. oversized vehicles, airport fees) may apply and must be paid directly to the provider.
  • Special offers or discount codes cannot be combined unless stated.

4. Amendments and Cancellations

We understand plans change. Please review the policies below:

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations must be made via Compare Airports Parking—not directly with the provider.
  • Some products are Non-Flexible (Non-Flex) and are not eligible for refunds or changes unless Cancellation Cover is purchased.
  • Requests must be submitted via our Support Portal or by email at info@compareairportsparking.co.uk, quoting your booking reference.

Cancellation Charges:

  • Bookings cancelled more than 1 month in advance: £10 admin fee (waived with Cancellation Cover).
  • Bookings cancelled within 1 month of arrival: £5 admin fee (waived with Cancellation Cover).
  • Non-Flex bookings: Refundable only if Cancellation Cover is selected.

Refund Policy:

  • No refunds for partial stays or unused bookings.
  • Booking fees, SMS charges, and Cancellation Cover are non-refundable.
  • Refunds require minimum 72 hours’ notice before the scheduled arrival.

Amendments:

  • Flexible bookings: Amendments are free.
  • Non-Flex bookings: Subject to £5 amendment fee unless Cancellation Cover was purchased.
  • To amend a booking, contact us via the Support Portal.

Cancellation Cover:

  • Exempts you from cancellation/amendment fees.
  • Still requires notice of 72 hours for cancellations, and 48 hours for amendments.

5. Arrival at the Car Park

You will receive full arrival instructions via email.

You Must Bring:

  • Booking confirmation and/or voucher
  • Directions to the car park
  • Car park contact number
  • Payment card used (some providers use it for entry)

For Meet & Greet Services:

  • Chauffeur contact details
  • Arrival instructions as per booking confirmation
  • Failure to follow correct entry/exit procedures may result in additional charges by the provider. We cannot assist in refund requests if proper procedure was not followed.
  • Please allow sufficient time to arrive and park. We are not liable for missed flights or schedules due to late arrival.

6. Vehicle Keys & Security

Some providers may require you to leave your keys for operational efficiency. All such providers are insured and operate professionally. Please remove all valuables and only leave essential items such as immobilisers or parking passes.

Your vehicle must be taxed, roadworthy, and have a valid MOT. Any claims related to vehicle condition must be raised before leaving the car park.

7. Vehicle Collection (Return)

We recommend inspecting your vehicle thoroughly before departing. Once a vehicle leaves the car park, claims may not be accepted. Any concerns should be reported directly to the provider immediately.

Compare Airports Parking accepts no responsibility for the condition of vehicles parked with third-party providers.

8. Complaints Procedure

If an issue arises:

Report it to the provider before leaving the car park.

If unresolved, submit a complaint to us within 10 days of your return:

We aim to respond within 10 working days.

Limitations:

  • Compare Airports Parking acts only as an agent.
  • We are not liable for vehicle damage, loss, or theft.
  • Your contract is with the provider.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid to Compare Airports Parking for the booking.

We do not accept liability for failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, wars, adverse weather). These are considered force majeure events.

10. Distance Selling Regulations

Airport parking bookings are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under Regulation 6(b)4 of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

11. Updates to Terms and Conditions

Compare Airports Parking reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking will apply.
